About our Privacy Policy

Bestpro cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and we handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Bestpro. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 21/05/2018, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. This Privacy Policy describes what information about you is collected by us, where this data is used for and with whom and under what conditions this data can possibly be shared with third parties. We also explain to you how we store your data and how we protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide us.

When does this privacy policy apply?
This privacy policy applies to all personal data that BESTPRO processes from everyone who has (had) contact with BESTPRO, such as our visitors, customers and business contacts. The daughter websites also fall under BESTPRO.

What data do we process from you, what do we use and for how long are these stored?

Data for processing your order

If you place an order, we need your name, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery address and payment details to execute your order and to keep you informed of the progress. These data are also required for any returns. Under the law, we must keep the data related to your order for 7 years.

Data in your account
If you place an order with BESTPRO, we will store your data if desired. You can enter a username and password so that your name and address, telephone number, e-mail address, delivery and payment details are saved, so that you do not have to enter them with every new order. In your personal account / environment we store the following information: your name, (delivery address, place of residence / location) address (es), telephone number, e-mail address and payment details.

Provided information when you contact us
If you send us an email, we may keep it. We then save the information you provide, which you yourself have stated in the e-mail.

Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. Retention periods
We keep your information as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request for forgiveness. On the basis of applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in connection with your assignment.

Shipping and logistics
PostNL / DHL / DPD

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL / DHL / DPD to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with PostNL / DHL / DPD. PostNL / DHL / DPD uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL / DHL / DPD engages subcontractors, PostNL / DHL / DPD will also provide your data to these parties.

Software
Our webshop was developed with software from Skyberate Internet Services. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Bestpro has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Bestpro is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have made with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Bestpro uses cookies to collect technical information regarding your use of the software, no personal data is collected and / or stored. Bestpro reserves the right to share collected data within its own concern in order to further improve the service.

Hostnet
We use the services of Hostnet for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Hostnet does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.

Payment processors
Paypal

We use the Paypal platform to handle a (part of) the payments in our webshop. Paypal processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Paypal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Paypal reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Paypal's services for which they engage third parties. Paypal does not store your data for longer than is permitted by the legal terms.

Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer. BESTPRO uses cookies to recognize you on a subsequent visit. Cookies enable us to gather information about the use of our services and to improve and adapt these to the wishes of our visitors.
